I guess being parked in the parking garage has a lot to do with driving when the car gets hit and I'm not even there.

Well when I got my 04 bumper, the paint didn't match, it was a shade darker and more grey than the rest of the SILVER car. So a couple months ago at work some I was parked in a space that couldn't have anyone park next to it, but .... the car was parked in manner that if some moron backs up across the ailse and pays no attention they would basically hit the side of my car... but really how bad of a driver do you really have to be to do that. Obviously someone was... so they hit my fender which was on national backorder for like 6 weeks or something.

Fast forward to the fender coming in. I drop car off then a week later pick it up. He was nice and fixed a nasty door ding out of my quarter panel and painted the whole driver side, front bumper again, and blended on the hood. Well.. for whatever reason.. now the whole parts he painted are a tad darker, which you don't really notice until you look at the hood next to the passenger side fender, which wasn't painted.... now keep in mind, the whole hood was ppainted but was cleared.... so the same color that it was don't even match back up with the fender... problem.. something with the clear.

Now... I'm so aggrivated about this color, I'm just gonna save $ until I can afford a color change, and have the whole car resprayed.

 

oh jeez...i'm really sorry..i didn't know what happened... at first i thought you had gotten into an accident so i was hoping you were ok.
if you respray that car, are you getting a completely different color or staying with the same color?
