I don't shoot +p in most of my .38s as they are too old but I do have one, more modern .38, that is ok for "occasional use". And then there are always the .357s.

Mostly I keep some on hand so when I give a class, the studends can try a few rounds. Some folks can be recoil sensitive, especially if it's their first gun.

I'm more of a semi auto guy anyway.
