Convoy from Northern Virginia to the Dragon hooking up with the NY Metro group on Fri

If anyone in the Washington Metro is interested in a convoy West on I-66 and then south on I-81 there will be a few of us from Northern Va meeting for breakfast at the Bob Evan's in Manasssas on Friday morning between 06:45 - 07:00.
The Bob Evan's is just south of I-66 at the first light that you will come to if you get off at the Rt 234 south exit (towards Manassas) (Fun two lane constant radius exit BTW.) When you get to the first light there will be a Shell station on your near right and the restaurant will be just across the intersection on the south west corner.
We will then depart via I-66 west at 07:30 or so (hopefully we can be in and out in a half an hour) to meet up with the NY Metro group just south of the junction of I-66 / I-81 in Toms Brook, VA (exit 291) at 08:30 at the truck stop to the right (Shell station) on the north west side of the Rt 651. They expect to have ten S's in their group and I have informed them that we would rather save our "points" for fun roads and are in the "five to nine over club" on interstates.

We were thinking of waiting for you guys at the I-64 / I-81 connection Friday. I'm not sure, however, that I can "Do it!" 
I find it very difficult to do the speed you all are talking about. Since I don't want to be deemed the "jerk" in a large group(small groups are fine 
), we'll probably just motor along and see who and what we come across. Originally, we were looking at being at that interchange around 0930-1000. I would say earlier, however, I know how I am just before a trip. 
Gotta triple-check everything and I will still forget something.

Eric- I have your cell #. I'll call on Friday to see where you all are. Something tells me that the group will not be able to stay at only 9mph over. Especially if Eliot(Defender) is in the group from NY! 
I'm more of an 80 mph-kinda-guy. Can't help it... that's only going with the flow on I-95.

Sounds good Skip. I'll keep my phone on. VA police don't like me for some reason (maybe they are jealous because they don't get to drive an S), so I will keep it under control until I cross state lines. Well, maybe if I can bury myself in a large pack of convertibles.
