Charlotte Area Rendezvous for Dragonball 2004
Hello fellow Dragonball 2004 attendees!
What time and where should we meet in Charlotte for the cruise to the Dragon on September 10 ? I suggest we meet at least by 09:00 in order to make a few runs on the Dragon Friday before the 5:00 p.m. registration in Alcoa.
Reply if you are interested in joining up for the trip out. Remember, half the fun is getting there, especially in a group of S2000s.
Here is who and what we have:
What: Meeting point for DragonBall caravan from Charlotte
Where: The Exxon @ intersection of Billy Graham Parkway & I-85
When: 8:00ish am for Cracker Barrell breakfast, hm, hm good!
When: 9:00 am on Friday, 9/10 for departure, Dragon bound
Who:
JAHumphrey
smccoy
Ron
Huskergirl
radred
S2K Awe (maybe, you know you want to, come on, commit )
Jamie

A 9:00 departure worked well last time. How about same bat time, same bat channel...........That would be:
What: Meeting point for DragonBall caravan from Charlotte
Where: The Exxon @ intersection of Billy Graham Parkway & I-85
When: 9:00 am on Friday, 9/10
Who: (HOPEFULLY!!) JAHumphrey, smccoy, Ron, Huskergirl, S2KAwe (did I miss any other Charlotte area folks?)
Cool Options:
- Getting there early for BIG, FAT breakfast at the Cracker Barrel next door.
- Meeting up enroute with anyone else heading to Asheville via I-40 (SC_Highlander? Others?)

Bump, baby, bump. Where is everybody?
I'm understanding just how much more meaning huskergirl's red car is.
Nice Filet at Misty's tonight.
Buzzard Billy's was different.
But back to this thread, I wasn't planning on leaving until after noon, but you guys are tempting me.
We will see what develops.

Excellent! Ron and I plan to show at Cracker Barrell around 8:00ish to pig out before hitting the road. It's right next to the Exxon.
If you want something faster, there's a Hardee's right across the street. Can't wait to see everybody.
(Come on, Mark....get up a bit earlier and show!) It'll be nice to get there early so we can get in some Friday Dragon time.

Points of Interest:
1859 Van Dorn that is where I grew up!
The Zoo Bar is the best in town to hang out.
Arturos has the best Chile Releno I have ever had. Its in the Haymarket which is a fun place to hang.
And you must drive past the stadium and sit in reverence!
Now you have been there you "know" what college football fans are all about.
Finally, GO BIG RED is an acceptable form of salutation!
