Hi Dave. I'll meet up as planned at the comfort inn, Atkins, VA. But first...I'm gonna tear down Back of the Dragon!

WVA doesn't care if you have a radar detector or not. It's only VA and DC that prohibit radar detectors.

That's fine. We will likely be doing that as a late afternoon loop from the hotel. I just didn't put it as part of the route. If you aren't sick from your first pass through, you can do it twice. It is a road that is very hard on passengers and the occasional driver for getting sick.

I'm holding off buying a detector for this event (too many Accounts Payable). I may have it for Gettysburg, if can I get my preferred stealth installation (which takes Uiden out of the picture).

I have the Escort 360Ci. It's great and totally non-visible.

the R1 Uniden is what I have- no frills but all the good stuff of the R3 except GPS lockouts. Got it black friday for $189!
