Default 4-15-05 Crash Fest - Police Warning

Well today was easily the worst day of the year. At least 5 serious crashes, 3 helo rides, and 1 exploding sportbike. Expect crazy enforcement. Sorry guys, we've tried everything we can to make things safer, but today was just pitiful.

*edit* Conflicting reports on fatalities.

Thanks for pointing me to easttnriders.com . Plenty of threads & pics. Such a shame. There's simply no reason to be foolish on this road.

^Yea, Thanks for the info Killboy.

This really sucks big time. It's always sad to hear of a death on the Dragon.

Hope the other riders/drivers are going to get well soon.

May God be with them all, everyone should say a prayer.

Well now the Tennessee HP is saying there were no fatalaties, and the Blount County Sheriff's Department is saying there were 2 Friday. We'll let ya know when we get a definite answer.

There were a couple of accidents today, one guy had to be flown out, but it was mostly because he was near the state line, which is considered a "remote location". His injuries weren't life-threatening. Overall the cops didn't seem too bad, but they were out there cruising around most of the day.
