I liked the movie. I will say that fan of exorcism movies r even horror movies in general can easily watch The Last Exorcism to satisfy boredom and keep yourself entertained for an hour and a half, especially if you understand and like the construct of the movie.

Last exorcism was one the expectant movie from horror and thriller and viewers get satisfied with what they have served in this flick .

I have no idea what the hell that means, but I really enjoyed this movie.
Simple, low-budget, and really, really fun.

I concur with OP... it was lame. Probably less entertaining than evascott's post above.

I guess I appreciate it for what it was -- a $1.8m movie with a simple story and VERY little VFX...great performances by all.

Dunno -- I just don't hold it to the same standard as the big-budget stuff (which is usually crap anyway).

It was too "Blair Witch" for me. I just felt like it had already been done. I didn't feel like I was seeing anything new or exciting, and the ending was just lame.

For its budget, it might've been a good movie, but since it cost me the same amount to rent as any 'big budget' movie... I hold it to the same standard.

I have read that this is basically a love it or hate it movie, with most hating the ending while others finding the ending interesting.

I plan to watch it and hope that I am in the love it category.

Ok watched it.

Premise and setup, solid 7-8. Payoff 0.

Could have been good, wasn't.
