Default Just saw "Black Dahlia" on HBO

Let me sum up the review this way, I would rather gnaw off my own testicles than watch this movie again. This is easily the biggest train wreck of a movie ever made. Plan 9 From Outer Space is a freaking Oscar nominee compared to this movie.

I almost enjoyed watching this movie it was so bad. I laughed out loud MANY times. If you have not seen it and have a morbid curiosity, check it out. It should be taught at film school as an example of how to royally screw up every part of a film. I DEFY you to watch it and then tell me there is a worse movie in existence.

Bad acting.
Afwul directing.
Horrible cinematography.
Melodramtic score to the point where you laugh.
No actor chemistry.
Nonsensical plot that is impossible to follow.
Bad special effects. (there are actually scenes where the actor is supposed to be driving and he is sitting in a still car with a moving background. I kid you not)

OK film buffs, you know you want to watch it now. See a piece of cinema history.

I looked up a couple reviews online just out of morbid curiosity. Some people liked it which shocked me. Most were mediocre to bad.

The director Brian DePalma, did Scarface a while back so he contiues to get hired. One of the other movies I thought was one of the all time worst, Mission to Mars, was his to. As well as Femme Fatale which sucked. Mental note: Never see DePalma movie ever again.

My favorite quip from a reviewer compared Scarlet Johansons performance to "scraping fingernails on a feces cover chalkboard."

the movie sucked. i hated it. and DePalma is a bad director imo.
Sorry to say this but "Scarface" is a really bad movie. It just has one really good character with Pacino playing Tony, thats it.

if it had been any other actor playing tony montana it would not be a "rappers-cult-classic". the movie was garbage!!!

Luckily the book was very bad too, so it didn't ruin any surprise there.

You must have gone to a lot of Yoga classes to be able to be flexible enough to bend down that far.

I kind of liked it. Maybe a bit long but it was like it was supposed to be a little kind of cheesy.

All I remember is. They were smoking in each scene no matter where it was.
