how do you cook your rice?

I use a rice cooker to cook my rice. Way easier than having to watch it on the stove. I like to put a bit more water in when cooking my rice. I on't like it too fry. Usually put in about 1.25 cups of water to 1 cup of rice.

When i cook rice i usually rev to about 3K, drop, chrip a little in 2nd and 3rd, and then finish them off in 4th. Sometimes this method leaves the rice a little burnt though, so go easy guys......

just a tip,
the universal way to measure how much water you need to add to make sticky rice:
1) stick your middle finger so that it barely touch the top of the rice (assuming that all the rice is level).
2) add enough water to reach the first indentation of your finger.
3) that's it. works for rice cookers or 50 pound kettles .
