Default The Departed

and Matt Damon movie.

We just rented this lastnight and watched it this morning and let me tell you what a great movie. It really does mess with your mind. I'm sure there will be a second movie as there was still one thing that wasn't "settled" at the end.

Those who have seen it, will know exactly what I'm talking about.

there was a thread on the movie a few months ago:

for me, since i saw the original first (infernal affairs), i only thought this movie was okay. they took out a lot of the subtleties and decided to go with an inferior ending. there's a good chance that there will be more movies, since infernal affairs had both a prequel and sequel that came out later.

IMO, Infernal Affairs was a lot better. Departed wasn't a bad movie, but I thought the original was that much better.

This was a masterpiece, well cast, well directed and a good story with a few twists. i recommend it and found it largely entertaining. it even has a baldwin brother in it!
