Whos ready for this movie? I said WHO'S READY FOR THIS MOVIE????
Macho, cut your head off, stab your eyes out, let you bleed to death violence!
This movie has some seriously artistic CGI and the fighting looks like some of the best to date.
I think a bunch of us from work will take an early day and go see this one.

The reviews of this movie are out of this world. It got 100% on rotten tomaotes, no movie gets 100%. It scored 100% with girls age 16-25 in pre-screening. Even chick flicks don't score like that.

I thought it was going to be more like "Gladiator" not some comic book style movie (Sin City). I did not like Sin City at all. 300, however, looks different and everything everything I see looks awesome. maybe because it is a different director. I am undecided.

The 100% rating on Rottentomatoes.com is based on 5 reviews. Only two are from legitimate trade publications (Hollywood Reporter & Daily Variety).
The HR and DV reviews are usually focused on box office potential, not quality. Thus, a movie will receive a "positive" review if the reviewer predicts that it will sell lots of tickets, not if it's worth watching.
Still, I am reserving judgement. Unlike some crazy people out there, I thought Sin City was freaking awesome. I predict this film will be entertaining at least.

It looks like almost the entire movie is CGI'd in a very surreal way.
P.S. is sin city really that good. I've never watched it, should I?
