I went thru what you are going thru with my first Honda back in 1986.
I horseshoed my Accord around a brand new Golf on a leaf covered street on a rainy November evening.
I brought the car to the dealership's body shop figuring they know Hondas. (Biggest Mistake ever !) The car kept getting worse everytime I brought it back in.. They repainted it, overspray everywhere,chipping, different colored gas door because they painted it on a different day. The more you bring back your car the less helpful they are and the more they screw it up.
I found a great body shop a couple of years later and I have stuck with them. I know thats not an option for you because you payed good money already.All that bad experience has made me a pretty good body work inspector. It comes in Handy when checking out used cars.
Find yourself a great local body shop for the future.
Some service shops are master people avoiders.
Good Luck , Keep at em until you are satisfied.

Disgusting what they did to this poor poor car! Peeling, spidering, overspray drips everywhere, 3 shades of Yellow, tape lines........GRRRRRRRR 
If I didn't see the car for myself I WOULD NOT believe the SHODDY Unacceptable job that they let out of their shop!!!! Jeez show SOME pride in your work!! And the guy got fired?? WTF? Isnt that proof enough that they botched it bigtime!

I feel your pain. I'm supposed to pick my car up on Thursday from the body shop. This will be the 5th time I've gone to the body shop. Every time in the past the paint work was crappy. I had a rake fall on my trunk and rear quarter panel. Every time I go higher up the food chain. I now have the owner of the body shop and multi dealership including Honda involved. I just don't understand why they just can't do the paint job right. I guess the moral of the story is to find a great paint shop.
