i bought my S from blair honda, in altoona. the salesman *claims* the owner of the dealership received a 99 NFR, VIN # in the single digits. the owner bought it for himself, and it's been in his garage ever since. this was back in 2005. i never met the owner of the dealership to ask him, cause i never actually was in altoona; completed the deal via phone, and the car was brought to my house here via flatbed. it could be the NFR with 57 miles mentioned in an above post. who knows, if your neighbor really is interested, he may want to contact blair honda.
btw, here's a pic of my S in the showroom. check out the civic.

I'll ask the guy about the blair Honda s2k.... He was pretty set on black on black though, but with the VIN # in the single digits and it being NFR, I don't see why that wouldn't have the same appeal.
13k miles is probably a little too high..

The car he is looking for belongs to a member at the country club. I have driven the car and taken pics of it. It is MINT and unmolested. I even took a pic of the registration so that I may one day contact the owner and ask him to sell it to me.

Well, you should just buy the car from him, then sell it to my neighbor. Probably make an easy 10k if you can buy it in the first place.
