The LWG is on a little hiatus. I'm still running it but just not posting when I do. I need to think about some ground rules for doing it before I post another one. Last time was just a little too nutty for me. I personally am not interested in cruises and the New Hope course isn't really designed for more then ~5-6 cars and is defintiely not a cruise. That being said, if ANYONE ELSE wants to take the lead and map out a course and post and run with it I'll show up.

I did a New Hope Run with a bunch of you guys like 2 years ago. We had about 25 to 30 cars and 3 groups. It was my first run and it seemed pretty calm. I forgot who led, but I know Gary was there and also Rick and Jeff Hardtopguy with his NSX.

I am not for a cruise either but I aint trying to get nutty and go 130 on a 25mph windy road. I'll see if I can map out a new route.

By the Way.... What did happen at the last run? Did a corvette get totalled?

That's what I heard too about the vette. Any more info. on it? Perhaps a quick synopsis?

The driver was fish tailing around the turn before the steep hill in the road, as he went over the hill the vette hit a ditch in the side of the road. After hitting the ditch he ended up on the other side of the road, the ass of the car hit a tree and spun the car 180. (which is why we saw the front of the car)

Was he part of the caravan from the beginning of the run, or did he just kinda "chime" in on the way?

Yea, but it was his first run and i think he felt like he had to catch up not knowing that we wait at each stop sign. He was in the middle for most of the run but a bicyclist ran into him when he was stopped. After he made the turn he pulled over to check out his car, which is how he ended up at the end.
