1. The 3000GT... errr the engine is ok I guess.
2. 300ZX is neat but the engine bay is cramped, 4ws breaks often, and it's a bitch to fix anything on it. The interior is pretty cool-looking.
3. The best CHASSIS on the list is the RX-7 by far but the engine is a little bastard child. It'll blow at the most inopportune moment ever. If you've got an LS-1 in it, it's the best car on the list.
4. The NSX is neat. Unfortunately, replacing/repairing parts will be prohibitively expensive down the road. It's also relatively weak by today's standards.
5. The Supra is the only one of those I would own as-is. The resale value is absurd, it has insane modding potential, it's easy to drive, and the transmission could be used in a tank it's so strong.

I beleive the 3000 GT came in AWD. I worked on a couple of those, thats a cramped engine bay.

i'm partial to the z32 TT, but always wanted an rx-7...
btw, the pic of the z is a 2+2 TT, which was never released here. you can tell by the fuel door behind the wheel, the usdm 2 seaters are shorter, with the fuel door in front of the rear wheel.

Miata was left out because it's in another segment of sport cars. Poll could've only fit 10 selections. Otherwise there'd be mustangs, corvettes, vipers, camaros, M3's, 911's etc.

RX-7 for me I love these cars in every way looks performance and the fact youll spend more time fixing it than driving it. I was torn between this and the nsx. Plus this car isnt played out like the supra nore gaysha like the 300zx im not even going to mention the 3000gt wasnt it a awd???

I thought the 3000 gt's were all awd but just the vr4 was turbo. Either way, that was a heavy ass car.. I never paid attention to it, wasn't that popular in Japan either from what i saw. If the RX7 wasn't a pain to work on, it would have been my #1 choice but after having one and blew the engine, I never looked back.

Only the VR4 was AWD. But in essence it was mitsubishi's top performer available here.
