The other thing you can do is put some of the heat-activated Loc-Tite on your factory seat bolts. (I think it's the Red Loc-Tite.) They won't be going anywhere. If you ever want to subsequently remove the seat bolts, you just need a hair-dryer or a heat-gun to break them loose.

i don't think it's the red because i just did my master cyl and had to take out the seat. it was hard but i did get them to snap and there was weird red stuff on the screw that i've never seen. unless i was just looking at the wrong thing.

Fortunatly, Ss around here are pretty far and between. we are not FLA or So. cal. The seat thefts will probably not be seen here... At least not soon! Still, Ill look into locks 60$ may be worth it!
