Thumbs up Uniontown, PA --> Long Island, NY

I'm on travel for my company and am in Uniontown, PA right now with the S2000. I'll be driving back to Long Island tomorrow and need suggestions of good picturesque scenic routes for my trip back. It could be a little bit out of the way, I don't mind. I have my camera with me so will try to take photos when situations present themselves. Could you list a few of your favorite routes? Thanks!

That's a long drive to be taking it out of the way. I guess you can take 76 all the way to 81. Once you hit 78, you can take the other exits and take old 22 all the way to allentown. There are more backroads this way, but it'd set you back a couple of hours for a drive that's already 6 hours long.

From Allentown, there are lots of roads in between I-80 and i-78... but as far as a route goes, I'd not know. Weather sucks today, hopefully would be better tomorrow. If not, I'd just stick on the highway.

Ehh, I'm used to long drives... I've done 12 hour drives with ease. Perhaps any good Amish areas or mountainy areas?

Try some of that. You can skip 78 and take backroads for about 60-70miles from hitting 78 to getting past Easton. Once you hit Easton, you'll be on 80 in NJ about 1 hour away from hitting the GW/Lincoln/Holland...

Supposed to be thunderstorms tomorrow though. I was going to offer leading you from Rt100 to hitting I-80, but rain would make it a no go.

Thanks for the recommendations. Unfortunately, since it was raining the 100-year flood, I just took the most direct route.
