This is tough! Ive been away from this site too long...just soo much to do since I moved last summer... I miss the guys here... Anyway, Im headed to see the STI with the mrs. tommorrow. I do like it, its the perfect fit with the kids and all. Really, Id just assume keep the S, but Im not wealthy enough for three cars. All Ive got to say is they better have a killer deal- my S isnt going that easy! Is there any new bad news about the STI?

only downside it the 09 wrx has more hp then the 08 sti and it has caused big controversy in the subie community...if your going new id hold out as the new sti i heard is set to be released int he coming months

Actually, the 08 and 09 STI has 305hp. The 09 wrx has 265, but honestly the wrx felt just as fast as the sti! ( I drove the wrx 2 days ago-the sti today) I felt that the wrx was just too soft (suspention, steering, and the trans was just rubbery) the STI was firm and the shifter was nice! ( not S2K nice of course!) Idont know what you heard about the next STI, but there is always the -next - and -better! Ill get it when it comes out.
