Spring Break in Delaware - What to do?
Delaware folks -
My girlfriend and I are planning a 2 day excursion to the Dogfish Head Brewery this year mid-April and plan on staying in Rehoboth Beach. Besides hitting the brewpub a couple times and touring the brewery, we have no idea what else to do. So, what is there to do mid-April down there? Any must see places or odds and ends activities. We are planning on doing 3 day, 2 nights.
Thanks,
Tom

While I haven't had the pleasure of touring their brewery, I love the DogFishHead brewpub. They have tons of interesting beers that are one-offs that they will likely never brew again. The food is awesome as well, and very reasonably priced. Depending on the day/season it can get packed really fast, its pretty small inside.
In Rehoboth there is a huge outlet area with almost any big name store you'd expect to see. Not too familiar with when the season starts up but i dont imagine it will be very crowded compared to summer. There are a few other beaches down the road, Dewey, and I forget the other ones, but most of the stuff to do is closer to Rehoboth. The boardwalk in Rehoboth is pretty big, its a main street( that the brewpub is on) plus the actual boardwalk on the beach. Most of the shops are open year-round. Lots of touristy stuff.
I am probably missing stuff but maybe others can chime in.

The beach towns are going to be pretty quiet in April. You could consider hitting up the night life in Ocean City, Secrets shouldn't be dead at least but the town will be pretty slow. Ocean city also has a much longer Boardwalk than rehoboth, but both are nice. Assateague island is scenic with its wild horses, sika deer and lighthouse but beyond that there's not much else to do there. Rehoboth is a great place with plenty of year round residents but there wont be a whole lot to do there other than shop at the outlets and visit Dogfish Head.
Don't know if any of this was helpful, but have fun on your excursion and hopefully the weather will be great!

Take the ferry to Cape May, NJ, eat at The Lobster House, tour the Victorian Homes, check out all the cool Bed & Breakfasts.
Wear a condom and have fun.

Keep Sat April 30th open! There is a 12 hour race at NJMP and if the car works we will need a crew chief.
April 15-16-17 there is also a race at NJMP but just a normal sprint race.
