SCCA Pocono July5
OK anyone else gonna run at Pocono? JFO?Scot?EJO? Now since SCCA accepts NASA comp licenses you guys can run by showing up!!!!! I think you may need to get a temp membership to SCCA, but I will check on that. You guys can run those Honda challenge cars in SPU or DP so we would all be in the same race group. Come on out it'll be a blast!!!!

That's cool! My dad will be there for that event with his Spec Miata! I am going to try to drop by, but I have to work so I'm not sure I'll get there.

John,
Do you have a link to registration and schedule? A one day event might fit in nicely for putting my foot in the SCCA waters.
I will be at the DelVal Miata day instructing and will have the race car.
Thanks,
John

It's a double race, but you can do one or both races if you wish. There is a qualifying session in the morning on Saturday and a race in the afternoon. There will be an enduro and a Pro-IT race as well. Your finishing position from Saturday determines where you start on Sunday. www.nescca.com has the registration info, but you have to be an SCCA member to register. The registrar for the event is Eunice Gerstein (610)282-3932. The tri region chair is George Bloeser (610)965-0585. Contact them to get everything situated. If you have any problems let me know and I can help. My teamates' dad is a member of the triregion commitee and he can take care of any problem that may arise.
Thanks
JC

OK I sent the check today to avoid the late fee. The mail better get there in time---it is only going from Quakertown to Center Valley. I could have dropped it off at Center Valley but then it wouldn't be postmarked today. I only registered for Saturday. Sent in the 1 day registration plus a weekend SCCA membership of $15. Is that correct?
What do I need? A couple SPU decals, do they have the SCCA stickers there (and will they charge me for them ), and what else?
I figure I will have to get there early and have a log book tech or will they accept the NASA tech log book?
