Just started catching up with all the threads since i've been down and out and spotted this one that is near and dear to my heart. When i lived in florida, i was a lightning photographer. Here are some of my best pics. I used 3 canon ESO 1's on 100 speed film, 15 second exposures at an f 24 if i remember correctly

After doing some research for the below question, i have the following answer. Not definitive, but a somewhat good test.
Q.) When do we switch over to summer tyres?
A.) When for at least two weeks the average daily temperatures are steadily above 65 degrees; not to be below 45; you can switch to summer tyres.
If for one or more days within any of the two weeks being considered which the temperature drops below 65 the evaluation period must be lengthened for an additional 2 weeks until the absolute condition passes.
If for one or more days within any of the two weeks being considered which the temperature drops below 45 degrees a buffer of one week must be added prior to the next two week evaluation period.
If for any time these conditions fail during the summer then a switch to Winter/All seasons are prefered.
Maybe we can sticky this if it looks good to you guys.
