I painted my 04 red with the G2 system. I did not grind down the calipers and they look great. Granted, not as good as Jason's but not bad. You have to look very close to see the casting marks. I put 2 coats on each caliper. I did wire brush the calipers and used the brake cleaner that came with the kit. I had slotted rotors installed and Hawk brake pads. Came out very nice. The epoxy is much better than the spary paint which I used on my MY2000 calipers (black paint).
