Dude.....um..ah....man....I just cannot believe how much stuff you have on your car....how do you find time to work?

 

I'd like to know how he pays for it all I do well, but I don't think I can buy an s2k and put enough money into it to afford another s2k... Of course, I am not a DINK (dual income no kids) and I live alone in a high rent place (~1k/mo)

 

Ok, here goes...

My day gig is lead programmer for a decent sized ecommerce service. Pays well, worked with them for 4+ years now (the first two as a contractor). I also do a fair amount of freelance work Flash, web programming/HTML, graphic design, interactive television) for a couple other companies. I'm fairly good at what I do, have won a number of awards (both for design and programming) and have been published, so I'm more on the upper scale of the average salary/rate for the profession. I'm proficient in a number of programming languages and am all self-taught.
