Plenty of room for everyone Paul. Actually, considering the amount of interest we always hear in the group about going to the track, I'd expect that there may be people at both events, plus others.
Come on people, you all talk about going, so go!
I'm not going to discuss the pros/cons of each track. People can read and decide for themselves. I will say this, IF Watkins Glen wasn't so close to Lime Rock (1 week apart), I probably would be doing LR, or both.

Nishant,
I had a blast. I think getting your car on a track and really driving it is worth the money. There are things you can do that you can't do elsewhere, and although there are always risks, I think they are minimized at the track.
Only you can decide, but check the Fall Colors threads, and read what people said there about getting on a track.
To freq's point, this isn't a full blown road course like the other courses, but its close, and it will give you an idea of getting out there.

This is a great event. I attended both days last year, and had a blast. The Miata folks were very friendly, and put together a nice event. Although obviously Miatas ruled the day there was a nice mix of cars up there, including a new Viper and a Porsche GT2
This event got me hooked and I ran several HPDE's since, and will be doing a few more before this one comes around again. It's a lot of fun, and if anyone is sitting on the fence about it, go, you won't regret it!
