Philadelphia Eagles AutoX for Charity this Sunday!
The Philadelphia Eagles have teamed up with CJ's Tire and Philly Region SCCA for a charity AutoX and car show event Sunday October 25th at Lincoln Financial Field.
Sorry for the short notice, but there was some question up until very recently about whether the Phillies playoff schedule race might interfere with this event. It turns out the Phillies' schedule will not be a problem, and this AutoX event/show is a definite GO this Sunday October 25th!

Sun, October 25, 2009
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
DESCRIPTION
Join CJ's Tires and Automotive Services and the Philadelphia Eagles for an all-day Autocross event at Lincoln Financial Field on October 25th, 2009. Proceeds from this event will go toward the "Tackling Breast Cancer" campaign which aims to fight breast cancer by raising awareness and finding a cure.
This event will provide fun for all, as participants will get to test their skills on an official SCCA course set up in the parking lots outside of the stadium. Fun is not only limited to the drivers as the event will also be hosting a car show and appearances by former Eagles players, cheerleaders and SWOOP will add to the atmosphere of the day. Many different companies will have booths promoting new products and concessions will be available throughout the day for all.
For more information on the event and registration, please visit http://www.phillyscca.com/
Don't miss out on a fun-filled day for a great cause.

Make sure you get pics of the cheerleaders on your car! I want to see them posted here after the event!
Andrew there is a big lot around me that isn't being used and I wonder if phillyscca would be able to hold events there. There are light poles but what place doesn't have them. I think it is the PA Expo center or something. It is right off of Tilghman and you can see it from 309 south of RT22 right behind the Lexus dealer. Big lot and they haven't had many events there so they might be looking for any use they can get.
