I am hoping that Andrew considers Temple. It would give us an excuse to visit Philadelphia often. It's a great town.

Liz and I are native New Yorkers and we loved living in midtown. We are thinking about moving back when our youngest, Adam, leaves for college in another 6 years. If for some reason we don't move back into New York, we may very well end up in Philly. It really is a great town.

We may just have to come and visit with all of you one of these days. We should have an S2000 and Cheesesteak meet.

Andrew was accepted to Temple today. There is a very good chance that he'll go there. We just have to wait for the University of Mass. and Rutgers to reply before he makes up his mind.

Thank you. Temple was the first school to respond.

We may just be having that "Great Philadelphia S2000 Cheese Steak Meet" after all.

I hope he gets to go to his first choice, whichever that is.

Thanks Ken. Rutgers is his first choice but I think he'd be happy with any of the schools on the list.

He is very happy this evening even though he's spending the whole night doing homework. The first acceptance takes the pressure off. We all knew he'd have no trouble getting into a college, but until the first one says yes, there is plenty of tension.

Another round of kudo's

Yes, I remember that time....especially with my daughter, Melissa. Swarthmore accepted her early....a big surprise. Even though it was 'too close to home' vs most other schools on her list in New England, this 'warm glow' ultimately moved her to decide to go to that school. Yes, it does take off the tension
