First a big thank you to Paul, Jerry and Tom for putting such a great run together. I can't wait to do this drive again the route was just awesome. Look forward to a little more air time in the future. Also it was great finally being able to put a face to the people I've come to know on this great site. Thanks to everyone for making it a safe fun event!

You all were great!! Neat cars/neat folks!! My deep apologies to the two cars I "lost" at the end of the "too fast for scenic" group (where are they?) Hope you enjoyed the sudden change from twisties in the woods to 3 seconds later accelerating up the I-70 ramp
I liked Dario's dad comment (Russ) at the picnic: "all I got to see were some trees and a few cows" . and "I glad there was a cardiologist along because of my heart palpitations". Chris - we all heard you leaving Dilly's - was glad to have you behind me on the run (and yes I could hear you over my supersprints). Gold stars to all passengers!
Most of all I'm pleased that it was safe run and that the rain held off (rained over 2" last night ....and sky now is that super clear you get after a storm). But perhaps it was best that you were not distracted by come of the best scenery in Pennsylvania.
The organizers say "You're welcome" and "Our pleasure". Truely.

i showed the pictures to some of my cath lab staff and they were awestruck. they had no idea that some geek dr. could put his down time to such good use.
i told them i wasn't the only geek there... ...and, i met a nurse tonight in the parking lot in a white '02, she says the car is her husband's, i invited the 2 of them to check out the site.
again, great job all the way around. i want to thank all of the drivers for respecting each others "space"...even while exceeding the speed limit... on occasion

Here's another photo when the "faster than scenic" group stopped at Fort Loudon... look to the left of the pic to see the "scenic" group coming down the road. I love the look of the cloud covered mountain!

Hey Dan, this is REALLY a special shot... the only improvement would have been if our "second string" had been a l'il bit further up the road. I *also* love the mountain-in-the-mist effect... which looks EXACTLY like the volcanoes I saw in Ecuador last year (you can never *see* the top... jus' have to trust that it's there )
So how was your day back on the job... after 18 hours/ 700 miles without
