The toyota engine they are using is fine. The Mg engine that the UK model has is a lot less power and that car still kicks ass. You could add a turbo the the toyota engine and be hiting the sound barrier in no time. The honda engine has nice hp but definitely needs some more torque before other car makers would want to use it.

Someone has put a F20C in there....the one we saw at Honda day had an Intergra Type_R motor

hum how much torque do you need to push a 1900lb car around? The toyota engine might be fine but it lacks compared to ours!
