My baby just got backed into and the front plate mount is broke. The bumper still looks good and I still have the original hole plugs.
So I am wondering if anyone here in NJ has/or had, no front plate?
Also has anyone been caught without one and what the result was?

I'll never understand why someone would risk driving without a front plate. You are just giving the police a license to pull you over anytime they please. ...Same thing with illegal tint. You might as well put a sign on your car that says "Please pull me over, officer."

Been without a plate for over 5 years for me, knock on wood.

 

It depends on how much the universe loves or hates you. I dunno. One friend with a G8 GT has tint and (at least a little while ago) no front plate. Got pulled over a whole bunch. Another friend has a Sky Redline, no front plate, never had a single problem.

I have a front plate, I just don't think it's worth the potential

 

Its hit or miss. You will either get pulled over by every cop that notices it, or they will ignore you.

I'm in the area. I went without a front plate for about a year or so. Got stopped once in Lawrenceville (206 and Franklin Corner - got a ticket) and once in Hamilton (over by RWJ Hospital - no ticket).

When I had my bumper replaced, I had the holes filled in for the look, but I've had the plate on since, mounted on the rails in the large opening.

Been running no front plate for the last 4 years or so. Ran into checkpoints where I live (Glassboro) and got a ticket about 2 years ago. Other then that I never got pulled over for not having a front plate.

 

had the s2000 2 years... got 2 tickets for no front plate.
