Next monthly Delaware Valley/Mid Atlantic meet: Sunday, February 24
#12
Time to keep this one at the top, in case some more folks are tempted to join up
Along with a bunch of others, I'm waiting for more info from Rick or Gary G (Jazzeds2k) on the MidAtl thread, with times/ locations. My guess is a meeting for the drive around 3 pm on Sunday....
Unfortunately, I have another event in Baltimore at 3:30, but Kathy and I expect to join everyone at the Jazz venue in Cockeysville MD around 6.

As in now turns out, the jazz club where Gary is playing has changed its plans, so his group will not be playing there that night. We're going to revert to the normal schedule, starting at 1PM at the Applebees on Padonia Road off I-83 North. We'll be finished with our drive by 4PM . I will post complete details tonight.

Unfortunately I will not be able to meet up with you guys this Sunday. The metro NYC group has planned a Sunday drive at Bear Mountain, which is very close to my home. Next time I will take the drive down.

OK, the details for our next gathering on February 24.
We'll meet at 1 PM the Applebees on Padonia Road, just off I-83. If you're coming south on 83 from Pennsylvania, get off the Padonia Road exit, turn left at the light at the bottom of the ramp, and make a right at the 2nd traffic light into the shopping center where the Applbees is located.
If you're coming from Delaware, New Jersey, or Virginia/DC, get on I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) from I-95 and take I-83 North off the beltway to the Padonia Road exit (the 2nd exit from the beltway. Bear right onto Padonia Road as you come off the ramp, then turn right at the 2nd traffic light into the Applebees parking lot.
Jim Schmidt and I will be driving down from West Point, New York that morning, where we will have been meeting with James Mullins over the weekend to begin planning the 2nd Annual Fall Colors Meet. If all goes well, I should arrive with my new Pinnacle Brake System installed, too

No Seth it isn't the same Applebees.
I know exactly where this one is if you want to meet again at the rest stop and go down together. It's only about 5 miles or so past where we were last month.

Weather forecast is looking good, again! Temps in the 50s and partly sunny. We are blessed, it seems, this winter.
No, it's not the same Applebees as our last meet!

all depends on the US hockey team - if they're in the gold medal game, i'm staying home gotta stick to my roots - if they're not, i'm in. and sure, i'll ride down with anyone who's going from this area - however, if paul gets me a ticket, i'm gonna have to decline to drive with him ever again
