This month's meet is being co-hosted by myself and Lightning (Seth). We don't have alot of details yet but the location will be somewhere in the Delaware/Chadds Ford PA area most likely with the usual box lunch. As soon as we have nailed down more details we will post it here. We would like some response as far as who plans on making it. We will probably meet around noon on Sunday the 28th of July.

Let's put a tentative meeting place at the Rest Stop going south on 95 just before Route 896 and the University of Delaware and let's make it at Noon! If the meeting place changes I will post it here. I will also post a mapquest link today to the rest stop. That is probably the best and easiest place to find to meet with more then ample enough parking.


Will anyone object too much if we end up eating at a restaurant on Sunday. It is not a definite but to be completely honest I kind of dropped the ball on the lunch details. I'll be working on it along with the final course details tonight and tomorrow, hopefully with Lightning, and will post Saturday with definites. Sorry guys and girls.


*** A few more details. Don't forget to bring your 2way radios if you have them. Also the rest stop where we are meeting at is quite large. We will be gathering on the South bound side of the rest stop. I am pretty sure that the first gas station there is an Exxon. Plenty of room for us to get together. Place your vote for lunch options. Personally I like the lunch part of the meet but a few of us just want to drive. The course we have for us tomorrow is between 50 and 60 miles. Should be alot of fun.

details? what details? show up, eat, drive! seriously, though - we're scouting roads as we speak, and to be honest, there's just too many to choose from - so we're narrowing it down. feel safe in knowing that this one will be fun - great scenery, twisty roads, up and downs, possibly some history thrown in depending on where we are. the beauty of delaware is that you can be in the hills one minute, and a few later, be down on the water. come one, come all - it'll be worth it!

 

I'd really like to stop by and meet everyone, but I will be out at Mid Ohio for the AMA races. Taking the S2K this year....12 hours home in 99 degree heat + Black leathers made for an unforgettable ride home last year.

Over the fourth weekend I passed a Yellow S2K with De. plates, he was heading North on Ventnor Ave. in Margate and I was heading South into Longport, just curious if he is a club member?
