It's not hard to get car shipped, u just got really want it and be ready to pay the price tag and deal with the head aches that come with it. I got some contacts in Okinawa from when I was stationed there, I can try to get a hold of them to do some parts hunting. (Cars may not be so quick & easy) Other then that, as long as the customs documents match w/ what ur shipping ur good to go. The Army shipped my right hand drive Civic ferio to germany for free but they wont shipped a non U.S. car to the U.S.

I was out in Tokyo in January and I was looking around a little. I want to bring a 98 skyline over or a 2000 ITR over.

Welcome Back.

When you said you were stationed in Oki, I figured Marines but you said the Army shipped your car? Then again, Army / Air Force do most of the sihpping of anything...

Anyway, welcome home.

Reserve or Active?

I'm living in Northern NJ.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm Army, I just took a break from active duty and started doing the Reserves. To many deployments, was about to go on #5 to Iraq when I said I'm out of here. Made sure I can stay put while in the reserves. (contract). Also, i was stationed in Oki from 00-04. Best time of my life except for deploying. lol
