Default Need some Help

Alright, not sure how much information I can find out, or if anyone can even help me... but here's my dilemma:

My girlfriend is getting married in June, and the girls of the party, along with the mother of the groom is trying to plan a bridal shower. Half of the people that will be coming are from Tamaqua, and the other half are from around the West Chester/KOP/Philly area.

Does anyone know of a place like a firehouse or decent place in or around either Reading or Quakertown that would be decent for throwing a bridal shower?
Basically I'm looking for a place that people can either bring food in, or food that will be $10 or less a head for everyone. Apparently around 100, but more realistically about 75 people will be coming. I'm thinking a central location between the two areas would be best so everyone that will be invited can attend without having to drive 2 hours.

I know... it's a long shot asking you boys here on the board... but I know some of you guys live up along the Northeast Ext so I figure I'd give it a shot. Thanks in advance if anyone has any input.

I'll ask Carolyn, she is from Tamaqua. She may know something in between.

I work in Quakertown and there are 2 fire departments, I'll find the numbers. The one on Park Avenue has banquets frequently. Other than that I can't think of much else except the hotels near the Turnpike that would have a banquet facility.

Asked a friend that lives in Quakertown. She said, mccool's, spinnerstown Inn. Also Revivals in Sellersville.

Spinnerstown is right off of the turnpike.
Not open on Sundays.

Revivals and Spinnerstown have nice banquet rooms.

Not quite sure about banquet rooms in mccools, but they did buy the playhouse next door and are renovating for banquets.

Most of these places are 12-30 per plate from the menu and som may or may not have extra cost for the banquet room.

These are the 3 nicest that my bud Rian could think of off the top of her head. Hope that helps out. If you need any more info, let me know as Rian said, "let me know if she [heather] makes out or needs any other info. I'll give you her number if you wish.

Spinnerstown is nice and I would recomend that however you can't bring your own food in and it will be more than $10 per person.

West End Fire Department is 215-536-6130 and on the property there is a sign for C&C Catering 800-242-1366.

Good luck.
