I think I skip occasionally, normally after i take it out of gear for a few though, just don't do it quick. If I drop a gear or two, I let it coast a bit. Dunno why, just feels better, heh

heh, I do that when I'm slowing down to a red light or turn. I've only skipped a gear a few times while putzing around and it should be fine as long as you take it out of gear first.

I read that skipping is bad and destroys the synchros. I usually skip 5th because well its worthless for just driving normally.

wow i had no idea about this. never skipping gears again. mine only has 34k on it and sometimes 1st to 2nd will grind unless im slow with it. thanks for the post!

That is common for your year, change the fluid every 8-10k or with mtf from honda, it always made mine feel better.
