I've just moved back into the philadelphia area and I'm trying to find an IT positon preferably a network engineer but I'm willing to start at the bottom again with a helpdesk position. Just wondering if anyone here could recommend some companies to me. The 100 job searches I do a day aren't returning any results. Thanks.

Vanguard out in Malvern is almost always hiring... even in the business slowdown. There's an employment link right here on their career homepage .

I just checked and they have CS opgs here, but no IT at the moment; bu the CS could be a place to start if your're willing to learn to financial ropes PM me if you need a further connection.... one of my neighbors is a mgr in their IT department

Check out the major banks in and around the Wilmington area.... They would be MBNA, FirstUSA, Citibank, Chase to name a few!! Good luck!

All I gotta say is, "Good Luck." I was a Software Engineer developing software for different pharmaceutical companies and I got the axe. I've been laid off since 12-31-2003! I posted my resume on jobcircle.com and got a few bites, but nothing has panned out yet. I'll let you know if i hear of any openings.
