Default I think I ruined my seats

Well I just traded for a pair of red ap1 seats and on the way home the tarp I had covering it flew out and I had to drive home in the rain soaking the seats will they be ok what should I do ?

i'd guess you should take them apart - the bottom and back come apart and the leather slides off each of the two pieces.

Check the seats diagram on hondaautomotiveparts.com to see how they come apart. cant get the site to come up right now or else i'd post a link.

In terms of how to dry leather so that it still stays nice, i have no clue.... maybe Roger our detailer knows best.

Lots have people get soaked seats when forgetting they have their top down and it rains overnight. Get 'em dried out, de-humidifier, towels, condition the leather after that. They'll be fine.

You want to use a conditioner on the leather, Lexol is a good one, but I am sure ther are plenty out there.

If they need correction, I have an upholstery guy that does amazing leather restoration & repair.
