Would I do that personally? Probably not, but it depends.... 95% of the time, I tell myself, 'ahh! there was an opportunity to pass, but here I am still behind this car....'
exactly what happens to me. im like damn i should have passed this idiot. but then i remind myself that a) if passing was safe it wouldnt be a double yellow b) im gonna get where im going 2 mintues earlier if I pass, not a big deal c) if i passed i could have gotten hit , thus my saving 2 minutes turns into wrecked car, hospital visits and much more

Like I said in the Mid-A thread, it was the cars fault.

I agree as well. Overtaking on a twisty road is either, bravery or stupidity with no margin for error. Judging by the corner that the s2k overtook on, it wasn't a blind corner and seemed to have plenty of room to over take. Would I do that personally? Probably not, but it depends.... 95% of the time, I tell myself, 'ahh! there was an opportunity to pass, but here I am still behind this car....'

But as they say, as knowledge increases, confidence decreases. It's usually the completely ignorant that think they are supermen.
I was more referring to whatever he did to run out of road. Cars don't just understeer off the road for the hell of it. The overtaking is a separate thing, although also pretty damn stupid. If you want track-level driving on the street, you better be ready for track-level mishaps as well.
