Default How to make my civic fun to drive?

I have been driving my civic for over a year. It's a great car. Gas sipper. But it's freaking boring. In the summer, I could drive my S every now and then....

anyway, S is stored. I've been driving this civic everyday for the past 3 months straight. I can't stand it anymore. How I can make it more fun to drive? I don't want to spend boat load of money on this thing. I want to make it fun and still DD it. Reason being I go to nyc almost every weekend. Can't take the S with me even in the summer.

I've been thinking a Short shifter first, then what? it's a 98 LX.

if you see a good deal on a IS300. Let me know I love that car.

The car is not perfect but its a decent deal and the owner is a stand up guy. Tell him I sent you, I have the same screen name on that forum as this one.

i have a 97 EX i picked up for real cheap. that motor is really easy to boost. you can run 8 pounds on it and it'll be fine. but yeah thats still prob more then you or i want to spend haha. id say a nice intake, greddy catback exhaust (great sound) and some tokico illumina strut/coilovers should make it pretty fun.

big money will go to the S. I just want to increase the fun factor of this little civic. I am always against exhaust on a DD. It's just me I guess, Never a fan of loud exhaust.

so, suspension upgrade? what is good for the street. If I could get shock/spring combo that feels like stock s2000 spring/shocks combo. I'd be satisfied.
