Default HKS Exhaust?
Does anyone in the local area have a HKS exhaust and be willing to take me for a quick ride to decide if that's the exhaust for me? Please let me know.

Get one, you won't be disappointed. Especially when coupled with a test pipe.

Don't get HKS if you are not gonna run a test pipe. It doesn't produce the same sound without a test pipe.

You really should do the test pipe with it, it sounds amazing. My setup is K&N intake, Berk header & test pipe, and the HKS catback.
