it originiated on the bbc network, weird british people then now they have an american version based outta nyc and they film in the tri state area, the show was picked up by HG-TV aka home and garden tv.

rundown of the show. people find antiques in their house then they bring them to the auction house to try to raise a certain amount of money to buy a specific item, in our case it was a hot tub i think our goal was what like 3000.00 or somthing i dont remember. but thats the jists of it. its more geared to an older audience frank lol, even thought they are trying to gear it towards a younger crowd . well and british people the only reason i knew about hte show was my mom and not to mention the fact shes been bringing me to antique shops since i was like 1.

You should've Tivo'd it, then you could watch our very own TV star anytime.

Jen, which auction did they go to, was it in Bristol? I'm not familiar with that house.

ya zippy it is in bristol we didnt even know of that one until they told us about it. they deal with i think 2-3 in the area. its actually back in a semi residential area. its pretty small and has no air conditioning! it was hot as hell in there, we recorded our episode in late may and even at night it was about 100 degrees in the auction house we were all like ok can we get this done quick! but we were there from 330-11pm.

I'm surprized that they didn't use one of the "big three" Dutch, American, or S&S. Well you guys seemed to do pretty well anyway.
