Do you just want the better intake sound?

lol fail

gutting the box and adding a snorkel has no effect on sound unless u pop the lid off.

i have done this set up without the samco induction hose though i was planing to get it. i can not save i felt a difference between this set up and the previous K&N short ram i had b4. I did look alot better though esp since the snorkel was in kevlar. my photobucket isnt working i was gona post pix. oh and try to reuse ur oem rad cooling plate by cutting it so it goes around the snorkel cause most pple just throw it out

i have a gutted box and a spoon snorkel. i did notice a slight change in the intake sound. theres no big increase in power, but there is a nice change in throttle response, especially at higher speeds.

i primarily chose the snorkel to help with heat soak on hot days and i think it has worked nicely.

well i did it on wednesday i removed all fins and left a small one inch wall at the bottom of the box i also did the lid as well. the noise did go up some. i dint see much of a change till i was on the high way the throttle response is way better! so i have read about the coolant hose for the t.b. and how people remove it to help with heat soak have any of you guys done it? if so was it worth the time?
