Default Had to get ANOTHER tire patched!

So last Thursday I feel the car pulling sharply to the right on acceleration. I just had it aligned the day before, so I know that's not the problem. This usually means there's something stuck in my tire that's causing me to lose pressure and the car to pull. Sure enough, a nice sized drywall screw had found it's way through my tire treads. Patch it and fix it. Sure seems like a pain in the ass, but now let's back up two weeks (almost to the day)....

I detect a distinct pulling to the left side on acceleration. No way alignment could be this bad. I can identify the problem in my head, but I don't want to admit it to myself. Drywall screw through the tread. Patched and repaired.

In case you're keeping score at home, that makes TWO seperate screws through TWO different tires within TWO weeks time. Just a frustrated FYI to everyone to watch where you drive. (not like you can see a screw in the road at 60mph, but never hurts)

What's really funny is when I had a piece of shit car, it went through life like it had a forcefield around it. Now that I have the S, it's like there's a bullseye on the hood inviting every damaging event in the world at the same time!

Don't feel too bad, we just put in our new fence about 3 weeks ago. In the course of 1 weekend, all 3 of our cars got flat tires due to nails

What if someone designed a magnetic front lip? That way all those nasty screws wouldn't make it to your tires? Just imagine all the junk you would pick up with that add-on!

Sorry to hear about the accidents. Probability says it'll all even out eventually, maybe.

When I took off my stock wheels last night, I noticed that one of the rear tires had a nice little hole in it (without getting a flat). These area roads are garbage

Mike, do we get to see any pictures of these new wheels, or does everyone need to wait until the mod day?

I'm going to wash her up tomorrow after work and polish the wheels, then I'll take some night time shots. Then everyone can look at them and make the inevitable "now drop it like its hot" etc. comments

I found a nice black headed screw in one of my tires after the car sat in the stereo shop for two months! Plugged and all is well.
