Default Gas Choices

My gas choice has usually been wawa since they always have the best prices but....

The other day I used shell v power (you know the one with alot of detergent and all the commercials)

I also hear that high detergents arent good for the engine or does this just apply to those bottles they sell at pep-boys with valve cleaning additives?

I just really noticed a difference in the running of the engine once I refueled with the shell gas

Please everyone weight in and say what gas you run

i use sunoco cause i get discounts everytime.
usually i find shells around me to be more expensive and the wawa gas stations are further than the one sunoco i go to that has awesome prices.

I've always liked Sunoco in my cars, seems to run the best.

I used Sunoco 91 for a few weeks then switched to 93 and noticed an immediate performance increase.

I use Sunoco 93 99% of the time, but once in a while I use Hess 93 as well.

The shell V-power was rated the worlds best gas (although at the highest price as well).

In my town, the V-power is about 20-30 cents more expensive then the most expensive premium in the area. Not really worth the added 1-2hp I think. I just get Wawa 93 premium almost always.

95? i remember there being something higher than 93
my brother in law works at the sunoco office.
he said they did have 94 or 95 (?) but lowered it to 93. said they found there to be no difference in gains but it is cheaper for them to produce
