Warning, racial generalizations and assumptions based on observation below. By no means are they meant to be demeaning in anyway and if anything should be considered a compliment.

There's a simple explanation for that. Guys = pedophiles at heart, we naturally are attracted to younger beautiful women. Girls on the other hand are in general attracted to slightly older men. Asians to most white people look like they are 16 until they turn about 50.

Out of curiosity, are you Asian? Just wondering where your perspective is from. There was a whole thread on this topic in the Off Topic forum, it was an interesting read.

I am white, but my perspective has been shaped a lot from my time at college. One of my roomates was a 34-ish (at the time) year old Burmese who spent 15 years in Japan and was often mistaken for being our age (20ish at the time) by most people. However our other asian friends could tell right away how old he was.
The rest of the what guys want vs what girls look for is just observations.

And I read a few of the pages of the thread you mentioned (I assume you mean the one about asian guys dating in the US), interesting stuff. Though they forgot that Jet Li has had romantic parts in US movies (romeo must die for example), although he does fall into the martial arts genre as well.

Jet Li did have a "romantic" part in Romeo Must Die, but that was only insinuated, there wasn't actually any physical contact. The only movie I've seen that doesn't support that argument was "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story".
