Ok...I'm confused. I thought that Mod's and Co's were one in the same for the regional communities. What I mean is, at the top of our Del-Val page it say's "Moderated By"

In the regional forums, COs act as mods. The role isn't quite the same, as the primary role in the regional forum was envisioned as more of an organization function w/ moderator duties at a minimum.

In practical application, some COs act more as mods than others. In the PacNW forum, our CO barely EVER moderates threads and we pretty much self-moderate since we all know each other personally.

In essence, if you visit the PacNW forum it's like being at a Taco Tuesday w/o the beer and bad tacos...

As for the site admins stepping in, their stance is that they try to stay out of the regional forums as far as moderation goes unless something really controversial comes up.

I nominate Paulie. He seems to be the most active organizer. Hell even if someone else posts a longwood or a squirrel run he ends up leading it somehow or another.
