On my way home from work today and the check engine light went off and didn't come back on. Damn gas cap was the problem. Well that is still better than having to worry about some possible emissions problem.

you guys should all be aware...if your oil light EVER comes on turn the f'in car off as soon as you possibly can and coast to the side of the road.....also if your check engine light BLINKS at you...do the same damn thing..you might just save your engine and a $5000 dollar bill for yourself...

i don't think many s2k owners know this....the oil light DOES NOT mean low oil...it means LOW OIL PRESSURE..which after only like 2-3 mins of driving will blow your engine. also when your check engine light BLINKS instead of staying solid....it typically means a catastrophic situation is happening in your engine that needs it to be IMMEDIATELY turned off.

didn't know we were talking about the oil light but good information for those who don't know. oil light not good, blinking cel not good either, if either situation is happening you have a ticking time bomb if not addressed immediately.
