Actually no, didn't get one, I looked over the car pretty good and from doing autobody for awhile, I didn't see anything that looked repainted. the only thing I did notice, looks like someone put the jack in the wrong place to jackup the right rear...Mechanically wise, you take that chance with any used car that you buy.

You work for Honda, can you run one for me or get info on the previous owner for me?

I have not heard good things about auto ventures. We need a vin to run one. They are only as good as what is reported to them, lots of cars have had body work done but not reported. You should be able to spot paint work if you were in the body business. Welcome!!!

you will always have overspray when something is repainted mounted on the car and from experience, not many shops will paint a part off the car. I know I will be doing paint work on the front bumper to fill in those danm holes for the front plates.

Carfaxes are only good if the damage is actually reported which is not required to do so.

Sounds like I got lucky...depending on the rear damage, more than likely the rear plastic was replaced, I'll take closer look tonight.

One question on the cold air intake, the filter is mounted under the car near the passenger headlight, how worried should I be about sucking up water and possibly vapor locking the motor?

I have the same intake. You will be fine. Just watch puddles and keep in mind you have an intake. If you are really concened you can pick up an OEM box cheap on here. Lots of us have em laying around.

I have read some people have experienced it, I would say avoid large puddles and down pours. Some one on here probably has one who can give better advice.
