Another option to consider could be a detour to Codorus if we wanted to do a BBQ/Photoshoot by the Lake.

that map even though i couldn't see it too well didn't really have much around prettyboy reservoir. but that is easy to fix since it's right around the corner from the middletown/beckleysville rd area.

Joe, we cruised Rockville Rd yesterday. You are so right about it being better than 216.
We sarted from the Glen Rock end heading West. Topping a hill about mid-way, that reverse camber blind curve took me by surprise, and we unintentionally got into a full four wheel drift. In fact, we came close to drifting right off the road.
I had enough presence of mind to keep my foot in the exhilirator until we straightened out.
Recovered OK and will be ready for that one next time. I think I may need to get some new rear tires.

That curve is great, especially headed west. Glad you survived it.
