is there anyone in pennsylvania here that's willing to 'trade' me their black DARE license plates? i'll pay for all your re-registration fees and whatever plates you want to get afterwards.. as long as i get the black DARE license plate)

Just get the PA color DARE plate.......

Plates can only be transferred to immediate family IIRC.

I just sold my Accord to my brother, the Accord has the DARE plate on it until next month some time when we x-fer the title at which time the DARE plate will be retired (he lives in Delaware).

I'm still not sure how you would be able to take posession of a plate which is registered to me though........

Ouch, that blows that they are discontinuing them. They are mega-popular for folks that would otherwise not donate. I wonder what their motive was

The black DARE is discontinued but not DARE plates.....I have one in PA colors..........

If s2ki was based in PA, then maybe we could pull off a custom plate, but it looks like that is a qualification. I'd give it a though. I say save all of that custom plate stuff for real charities.
