Default Best roads to drive when the roads are empty.

So just curious if anyone has a favorite route to drive when the roads are empty, basically anytime that you don't have to worry too much about how fast your going.

Some of my favorites so far are 29 between malvern and pheonixeville (twisty through the mountains) and 401 from malvern out towards reading (also twisty forest roads).

There is also an awsome back road in downingtown near 322 which is a really twisty forest road with a short tunnel but I'm not sure of the name of it, and also they added two stop signs recently which screwed it up.

So let us know, where should we go for some fun?

Route 282 west out of Downingtown. Usually lightly traveled, follows the creek. Made this part of my daily commute.

route 29 is pretty awesome.....i'm looking out at it right now from the Great Valley Corp Ctr

there are great roads in central PA and they're almost always empty.

1 or 2 drives have been posted every year in this area, but not too many philly people are willing to drive 2 hours for another 4 hours of great driving

I would definately be up for some quality backroads, someone should plot a nice loop that everyone can drive sometime (if only we had our own nordschleife near here).

West River Drive along the schuylkill river is fun even with traffic but watch for cops, Goshen Rd. (West Chester to Radnor)... We could start at the Art Museum, take West River Drive, to 23, to Goshen Rd, to 322 to 29. That would be fun!!!
